Important note regarding course access after registration:

  • University of Ottawa students taking a course at Carleton, click here for information on Brightspace access.
  • Carleton students taking a course at UOttawa must register using Brightspace uOttawa.

Even though both institutions use Brightspace, course access is kept separate. You must log in to Carleton’s Brightspace to access Carleton Courses and uOttawa’s Brightspace for uOttawa courses.

Schedule Notes

Each graduate course carries two codes, one for use by students whose home university is the University of Ottawa (e.g., codes with the prefix CSI) and one for use by students whose home university is Carleton University (e.g., codes with the prefix COMP). In the list of course offerings, the first listed course code indicates the university at which the course is being offered. Students should refer to the registration procedures and deadlines of their home university.
